Desks we assess for

3
Operations executive

Operational flow from origin to final customer is the core of the program, in the classroom and again at a working port.

Customer service executive

Communication is assessed in every group exercise, and the training is conducted in English.

Hub administrator

Cargo categories, container types and the equipment that moves them are covered in class and seen on the port day.

Every desk here maps to work we assess in the program. You interview two or three, not fifty.

Vetted junior staff, with less of the usual first-hire risk

Cargonomics places vetted junior logistics staff with shipping and logistics companies in Vietnam: graduates we have trained and assessed ourselves, so you get the value of hiring at entry level with less of the risk that usually comes with a first hire.

01

You meet two or three people we have watched work, with our assessment notes, instead of screening a pile of CVs.

02

Every candidate has completed our career development program: classroom training, a full working day at the port, and assessment all the way through.

03

They already know the desk they are joining, so onboarding is shorter and the first months carry less risk for you.

We know the desks you hire for. Here is the fit.

You hire volume into hubs and customer desks, and a wrong hire is felt the same week. We select a small cohort, train them in logistics and assess each one individually, so the shortlist you see has already been narrowed.

Three ways to fill these desks

Option 1

Post on a job board

  • Hundreds of CVs to screen yourself
  • No idea who can actually do the work
  • Training starts from zero on day one
  • Cheap to post

Option 2

Use a recruitment agency

  • Someone else does the screening
  • Screened on a CV and one interview
  • No industry training behind the candidate
  • Fee on every hire, whoever it is
Recommended

Option 3

Cargonomics talent pipeline

  • Trained for logistics before you meet them
  • Assessed over the whole program, not one interview
  • Assessment notes shared with your team
  • You interview two or three, not fifty

Where this is not the right fit

Not the right fit if you need couriers, riders, sorters or hub floor staff in volume. The program prepares graduates for the desks behind the network: hub administration, operations coordination and customer service.

Before you get in touch

Are these delivery staff?

No. The program prepares graduates for the office desks behind an express network: hub administration, operations coordination and customer service. Couriers, riders and sorters need another route.

What do the candidates know about express operations?

The operational flow of a shipment from origin to final customer is the core of the program, cargo categories and the equipment that moves them are covered in class, and the group spends a full day at a working port facility. Communication is assessed in every group exercise, in English.

How do we meet the candidates?

Tell us the desk you are filling. We shortlist from the current cohort against it and share our assessment notes on each person. You interview two or three candidates who have already been trained and observed, not a pile of CVs.

Where are the candidates based, and is the training in English?

The program runs in Ho Chi Minh City and is taught in English. Candidates are final-year students, fresh graduates and first-time job seekers who are based in or willing to travel to Ho Chi Minh City, and communication in English is part of what we assess.
