Before you write
When a customs broker needs a different hire
Not the right fit if you need a customs declarant with a track record, or staff for a role outside Vietnam. The program covers customs documentation and why clearance depends on it; it does not issue a customs declaration certificate.

Can the candidates prepare a customs declaration on day one?
They know what a declaration needs, which documents it depends on (commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin) and why an error holds a shipment at the gate, and accuracy on documentation is scored in every exercise. They still need your procedures and your software; they do not need the basics explained.
Do the candidates hold a customs declaration certificate?
The program does not issue one. What you get is a graduate who has been trained on the documents, assessed on accuracy and watched working in a group, so the time you invest in certification goes to someone you have already seen perform.
Do the graduates understand how Incoterms affect customs clearance?
Yes, at entry level. Incoterms such as EXW, FOB and CIF are taught with cost responsibility and risk transfer, so a graduate understands which party arranges export and import clearance under each term.
What does a certificate of origin have to do with the rest of the file?
The graduates are taught that the certificate of origin, the commercial invoice and the bill of lading must tell the same story, and that a mismatch can delay clearance, delivery and payment. That link is covered in the documentation session and tested in exercises.
Is this training in Vietnamese customs law?
No. The program teaches trade documentation and why clearance depends on it, in English. Vietnamese customs regulations, your declaration software and your procedures are learned on the job with your team.
